The sea calls you to adventure, and distant lands promise riches and glory. Live the life of a Norse king or noble in Northern Lords, a flavor pack for Crusader Kings III, now coming to console. This add-on includes many new events and increased color for the Scandinavian realms whose raiding campaigns and daring voyages became emblematic of the spirit of the Middle Ages.

Coming on November 17, Northern Lords is the first piece of expanded content available for the console version of Crusader Kings III, Paradox Interactive’s award winning strategy and role-playing game about medieval dynasties, released earlier this year.

Features of Crusader Kings III: Northern Lords include:

• Norse Adventurer Realms: Norse characters may abandon their own homes and lead hosts into foreign lands to establish their own kingdoms.
• Jomsvikings and Shieldmaidens: Norse holy warriors and stalwart shieldmaidens take up arms on your behalf, while poet characters can compose stinging rebukes or romantic overtures.
• New Cultural Content: Special Norse dynastic legacies, Norse blot sacrifices, trials by combat and cultural innovations, as well as numerous new events for additional color.
• New Art and Music: Original art and musical score to enhance your playing experience.
• And more: Berserkers, missionaries, runestones, Varangian adventurers, new decisions and other highlights from the exciting history of the Norse people.

This release will be accompanied by a free update to Crusader Kings III on console that includes the highly anticipated Ruler Designer - a tool that allows players to create unique starting characters so they can more easily explore how different personalities or interesting combinations of character traits can transform the types of stories that they usually tell.

Crusader Kings III: Northern Lords will be available for Xbox Series and Playstation 5 consoles on November 17, 2022. Crusader Kings III: Northern Lords is included for all owners of the Crusader Kings III Royal Edition.
