Solo developer Kabloop announced that DIGGERGUN is heading to Xbox Series S|X, PS4/5, Switch and PC in 2023. Demo and Kickstarer go live!

The DIGGERGUN demo is roughly 20-30 minutes long and covers the first week of the game’s story. Based on the current pre-alpha build, the demo represents a small slice of the game and aims to get across its themes and ambitions to players and potential Kickstarter backers.

The Kickstarter comes with a selection of rewards, with perhaps one of the most enticing being the Level Editor. The Level Editor allows players to create DIGGERGUN levels, as well as download them and share them with friends and others. Players can use pieces, obstacles and enemies from the game, rotating and placing them on a grid in a manner not dissimilar from other popular level/game makers. Watch the short trailer showing the level builder.

Backers can get access to this tool for £25 (around $31/€29) but for £50 (around $61/€58) backers can create a level and have it featured in the final game, where it will appear as a Challenge Level. Challenge Levels are short collections of levels that the player will need to beat in one go in order to obtain a prize.

Other rewards on offer include access to the Beta, access to the Alpha, adding a dish to the menu of a traveling secret restaurant, designing an enemy, and creating an NPC and their questline. The Kickstarter will run for 30 days.

DIGGERGUN will release on Xbox Series S|X, PlayStation 4/5, Nintendo Switch, and PC in Q3 2023.
