Rocket League Seaon 9 Begins December 7th

Rocket League is a high-powered hybrid of arcade-style soccer and vehicular mayhem with easy-to-understand controls and fluid, physics-driven competition. Rocket League includes casual and competitive Online Matches, a fully-featured offline Season Mode, special “Mutators” that let you change the rules entirely, hockey and basketball-inspired Extra Modes, and more than 500 trillion possible cosmetic customization combinations.

In a world of frost vs. flame, which will you choose? Unleash the mystical Emperor II, a new Car with twin Frozen and Scorched versions in Season 9’s Rocket Pass. Master the elements in a new Forbidden Temple Arena Variant, battle against other players to earn explosive Tournament Rewards, or customize your car with ice-cold Rocket Pass Items.

Rocket League Season 9 features:

  • New Rocket Pass - The powerful new Emperor car (Breakout hitbox) stars in this season’s Rocket Pass and, in a Rocket League first, will have four different versions that can be unlocked with Rocket Pass Premium: Emperor, Emperor II, and two Fire and Ice themed Special Edition versions in the Pro Tiers, Emperor II: Frozen and Emperor II: Scorched. The Rocket Pass will also include additional Fire and Ice Special Edition items. A preview of the Season 9 Rocket Pass items can be found at the landing page HERE

  • Forbidden Temple (Fire & Ice) Arena Variant - The elemental dragons of Forbidden Temple have been released and have covered the Arena in permafrost and lava for Season 9.

  • Frosty Fest and Neon Nights Returns - The winter holiday-themed Frosty Fest and music-themed Neon Nights Limited Time Events will both make a return later this season. More details on both events will be revealed later!

  • Additional Updates - Season 8 Competitive Rewards will be distributed shortly after Season 9 begins. For more information about what’s coming in the next season, read the latest blog post here.
