Magic Cube (@magiccubegames) launched the first huge update for their fantasy puzzle game Merge & Blade. The new update brings UI improvements and Roguelike mode balance adjustments,8 new characters and 2 Roguelike missions, and new bosses and challenges have been added. After the full release, Merge & Blade went viral on social medias with critical acclaim and reached more than 500,000 players.

This game, which is a combination of puzzle and auto battler, is called by various nicknames such as Fantasy Tetris, Puyo Chess, and Tetris RPG.

Thanks to a warm response from players, the developer changed the general update plan to a huge update. This update includes 8 new roguelike characters and 2 new roguelike missions.

Merge & Blade is a game that emphasizes the fun of a unique mechanic, so the added modes and characters are also designed with a special mechanic to give new fun.

One of the new character, Prophet, use preview infinitely. Berserker that gets stronger each time getting attack makes players attempt different strategy.

In addition to new content, the update includes balance adjustment and UI improvement.

The update is available on Steam first, XBOX version will be updated as soon as possible after additional work such as cross-play support.
