C2 Game Studio confirmed that third-person action-RPG Astor: Blade of the Monolith will launch across Xbox, PlayStation, Switch and PC on May 30. Journey across Gliese, a mystical world under threat by dark forces in this vibrant action RPG.

Play as Astor - a young Diokek engaged in a fight for his world’s survival as he attempts to unearth the secrets of the past. Learn new abilities, gain magical powers, and collect legendary weapons on your quest to stop an unholy ritual. Aided by a mysterious presence, embark on a dangerous adventure with the power of the Runic Swarm in your hands. Crush the minions of evil on your path to fulfill your destiny and become the planet’s savior.

The release date was revealed as part of the ID@Xbox Showcase, featuring some of the most exciting upcoming indie games from around the world. The announcement also comes in the wake of a recent title rebrand. Wield legendary runic weapons and magical abilities in fast-paced combat as you confront the source of evil found on planet Gilese, and enjoy a rich, immersive adventure as you guide a lone hero across the planet in a desperate search for answers.

Inspired by Devil May Cry, Bayonetta, and The Legend of Zelda, Astor: Blade of the Monolith features fierce fighting mechanics and wondrous exploration. Learn new attacks, abilities and combos, use runic power to summon powerful constructs in combat, and collect legendary weapons as you crush hordes of enemies.
