Independent developer Masala Games confirmed that its 2D story-driven detective game 'Detective Dotson' is coming to Xbox Series X|S early next year!

Detective Dotson is set in a stylised 2D-meets-3D rendition of modern-day India that puts players in the role of Dotson, an aspiring Bollywood star turned reluctant detective. Detective Dotson is the vision of former EA alumni (Spore) and Oscar-winning Pixar artist (Toy Story 3, Brave), Shalin Shodhan.

The title is inspired by modern Indian pop culture such as Bollywood and crime dramas like CID all while having its own unique narrative and aesthetic style crafted from the ground up and based on real-world Indian cities. You’ll collect clues and solve mysteries as you encounter a colourful cast of characters, each with their own secrets.
