To buy an Xbox one. It's not cheap. But I kind of miss playing madden if I'm going to be honest. The old days when I played the most I had my xbox 360 and I loved it. I had a passion for it. I could sit for hours just playing it.

I'm not drinking on weekends. And I haven't got a job to have on the sides of my studies either. And I can't just sit around watching netflix and train anymore. I want to play videogames.

It's really really weird. I'm starting to become a bit crazy. I mean seriously crazy. I don't really know what I want to do in life either. This is sort of a confession/vent post I know.

But videogames are fun. And it's funny when people call gamers "losers" or "nolifers" or whatever. Because videogames are very big. And if you're competivitve in it you can even make money. I wouldn't be suprised to see videogames as a olympic sport in the future. I mean come on, it's being broadcasted on tv right now, what lies ahead in the future?

Long story short. I want to buy a Xbox one. I'm bored.

This might have been a waste of time of reading for some of you. But I just wanted to write out some thoughts somewhere.

It's never a waste of time reading your posts mate. It's good to see your bouncing back! Now you can see why i play video games alot too. I don't go out and get drunk every weekend, nor do i have time to do alot of things.. That's where video games fits in nicely for me. Chat with my buds and hang out on a game is always cool.

And yep, won't be long, video gaming will be an olympic sport .. hahah.

The Xbox One is just like the Xbox 360 was at launch. The Xbox One Dash needs a hell of a lot of improvements.. The March 11 update should be interesting and solve most issues.. Hopefully the updates will make it much easier to invite friends etc. Right now it's a tedious process and takes ages, especially if you're already in an online game.

Don't get me wrong, the next-gen graphics are amazing, the online play is heaps better too, but they have a long way to go.

Hope you save some $$$ to get your console soon mate, i know you will enjoy it.. Just don't buy Call of Duty, i will warn you, it's terrible.. lol..
BF4 is fun, 64players online just like the PC version.

Yeah, the xbox one is at windows 8 style. I like the way it looks but as you mentioned it might need some work.

It's a bit disappointing to hear that the online inviting is so bad though. In a world where people can connect with each other so easily it should be a high priority to allow your players to connect with others players and set up games. I don't think it's going to last that long though, I read the article about improving the party chat and inviting friends. So that's not far away.

And no, I wont buy call of duty ghosts lol. I'm done with call of duty.

It's probaly going to be alot of madden instead. And yes.. ALOT of madden.

I heard long time ago that they were going to put skype services into party chat. Did that ever happen? Or can you use skype on the xbox one while you're playing a game? That would be awesome.

Can't wait to buy the console, it haven't even released here in Sweden so I might be able to pick up a day one version lol.

I always enjoy your comments S1mme so keep it up for us Very Happy

Online chatting is fixed and things are close to 360 functioning through out. Love that you can now see the data a game takes up on drive... but then you realize that it won't be long until the 500 GB drive is filled up. What then? Don't worry it appears in some not too distant update, the xbox one with be supporting external drives. Well that's a plus

If you think the games play well now, you know that smoothness we've all fallen in love with, well soon it's all going to get much better when DX12 hits. Yup yup, I do believe we will soon find out which next gen console is truly next gen real soon Wink

@Xsplit Whores? Whatcha talkin about Wallace? lol.

@tweaked

It's nice if you can have external drives into your X1 in the future. What worries me is that it might be expensive. I wish could have like my own stuff that I use instead (That's called 3rd party stuff right? not sure.. ) so I get it a bit more customized. I think 500 GB is okay though. Well, I haven't tried it out for myself yet but uninstalling a few games I don't play atm is always something you could do.

I wish you could use your own headset for the xbox one also. It's a bit expensive to buy "good" headsets for the xbox so that's bothering me a bit too. (ergh, I'm not sure if the adapter is the solution for that but I wonder if that works any good.)

All I can do right now is wait, train, watch netflix and keep my grades up though.

They brought out a chat adapter that allows you to connect any headset you like on the Xbox One. It only just came out over the past week or so. No need to buy one of those new headsets. oh, and don't invest in a POLK AUDIO for XBOX ONE just yet if anyone is thinking about it. They have a bug and need a firmware update already. (reason is: you can't be heard in party chat, only faint). lol

Ah, that's a big plus also. 25bucks seems a bit too expensive also but if that's what the cost is gonna be to use your own headset then that's what I'm having.
