hmm i guess hyped would probably overstate it but i'm still pretty excited to play BF1 for sure.
The maps look awesome, the combat looks great and the weapons and vehicles look really interesting so not really much to be critical about but after seeing it being played my concern for the game is its longevity. I know its going to be a blast to play but for how long? can its lifespan be as long as BF4's has been? i hope its not going to be another Battlefront or Hardline with i played for a few weeks then have never really gone back to. i thought both of those games were good and enjoyed them but haven't kept my attention unlike BF4 which as you know (lawl) i still play a LOT of. Hopefully the game is so awesome that those concerns aren't going to be an issue and we'll be having the same conversation in a few years about the next BF title while still playing BF1.
Only time will tell so i guess i should pull my finger out and get on that pre-order!
ps: i killed my first 4 people all on my own in a scout chopper (so close to my first scout ribbon!) yesterday so am as bummed as you are at the lack of helicopters in the new game
