Yeah it's pretty much a night version of Amiens right? Most of the buildings, architecture and surrounds have been "borrowed" from Amiens. Hopefully its more enjoyable to play than the night maps in BF4 were. They were ok for a round or two but after that i didn't really ever go back to play them again.
Tahure where this map is set is was a small town between Reims and Verdun which saw a lot of front line battles during the war. Butte de Tahure and was part of the famous western front which includes Amiens to the east, San Quentin, Butte de Tahure and Verdun to the west.
The Western Front was also the setting for the Nivelle Offensive, lead by General Robert Nivelle, which attempted to push the German forces back across the Aisne River. The Franco-British forces were able to push the Germans back past the Hindenburg Line near San Quentin where they advanced and finally took Vimy Ridge after another fierce battle.
The Nivelle Offence initially started out well and ground was made against the German lines, but as the battle continued, Nivelles aggressive strategy lead to heavy French casualties, eventually resulting in a mutiny amongst his soldiers which lead to him being removed from command and replaced. With a new, more defensive strategy the Franco-British army was able to force the Germans back while reducing their own front line casualties.
Apparently only the UI update has been applied so far. the main May patch is happening the last week of May (but won't include Neville Nights anyway unfortunately).
