Part1 of my review of the Nokia Lumia 920 and Windows 8 Phone OS
This first part will be very brief and just mainly cover first impressions and personaly found bugs/annoyances
All who know me know Im a hater of Win8 for PC so Im sure will know when I give a kudos to Win8 Phone its very well deserved and very painfull for me.
Im going to cover the topics based on their importance to me.
#1
Ease of Transport
You look at smartphones today you see bricks meant to fit in your pocket. The latest Sammy phone wont even fit in the pocket of any pants I own. Not so for the Lumia. It slides in and is a very comfortable and un-noticeable addition to my pocket. When Im walking no bang against the leg. Driving I dont get a huge bulge beside my leg or feel like my pants are getting rammed up my ass like many smartphones do COUGH COUGH Sammy COUGH COUGH IPhone.

Music Playback
Previous to buying a 920 I owned an HTC Sensation which was considered by many to be top tier for Android phones. All my external/speaker views are based in comparison to the Sensation. My Headphone playback views are in regards to a Philips Aria, the best MP3 player Ive ever seen.
I listen to metal. Mainly Black, Goth and Progressive metal so clearity and crispness are fundemental to me as is volume. The 920 delivers on all fronts. With headphones (Panasonic, Philips and Black-Box Noise Cancelling By Phitek) The crispness and clearity was virtualy identical to my 4GB and 8GB Philips Aria MP3 players. The volume was the A+ standout, it amazingly was louder than my Philips which just exceeds the WOrkSafeBC Noise regs

The other huge plus was I didnt have to do any messing around to get this sound. This bad ass sound was default. Most likely props in this case belongs to Nokia for their music app and making a kickass piece of hardware.
External is just bloody amazing. Last night with fans going, with steam cleaners running, I could hear, clearly Old Mans Child-Enslaved And Condemned while I was in the bathroom like 30ft and a wall and door away. The clearity of vocals and riffs exceeded in spades what my HTC ever brought to the table. And 15 (half volume) on my Lumia is about what MAX was on my HTC. And again this was it just DEFAULT settings.
