If you are getting lots of hit markers, BAD LUCK, KILLED IN ACTION, and missing shots you know you got while playing Battlefield 4 then it may have something to do with a new setting called "Network Smothing" that is now available in the OPTIONS menu under network.
The new "NETWORK SMOOTHING" option attempts to smooth out any network lag your might experience while playing the game and is set to 50% by default.. I was having a bad night all night and then i noticed this setting, which i have now turned down to 0%.. The game runs much nicer now but it does show the lag when it spikes (not that often). Now i win near all my battles and don't miss as many shots.. Hope this helps someone.
