Worms Battlegrounds will be the among the first titles to be released under ID@Xbox, Microsoft’s new program enabling independent game developers of all sizes to produce and self-publish games digitally on Xbox One, of which Team17 are an ambassador.

Worms Battlegrounds is the biggest and best Worms game to date with more worms, larger landscapes, more dynamic water, more weapons and more customisation options than ever before! Worms Battlegrounds features stunning high definition 3D visuals but preserves the classic 2D gameplay we all know and love! New lighting effects, new socially integrated features to help players interact with the community and exciting additions to the single and multiplayer experiences makes this the de facto Worms experience, new to next gen consoles!

• Weapon Gestures. Assign up to four weapons for quick

Worms™ Battlegrounds is due for a 30^th May release for Xbox One and PS4 (EU) and will be available both via digital download and as a boxed copy at certain retailers.

In the US Worms™ Battlegrounds will be available for the PS4 via digital download from the PlayStation®Store on the 3^rd June.
