Dungeon Defenders: Awakened, the third major entry in the Dungeon Defenders series, releases its next major free expansion, “Episode 2 Part 1,” for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam in October and Nintendo Switch in November.

This upcoming update introduces a new chapter in Etheria’s story with two new maps and the return of a fan-favorite character from the original Dungeon Defenders, the "Outcast Summoner." Other additions include the highly requested player gear trading and an increased level cap with new gear and abilities to master.

“Episode 2 Part 1” delivers two new maps, including The Bazaar and Lost Metropolis, along with tradeable Runes to enhance specific abilities or defenses to suit any preferred playstyle. The fan-favorite character, Summoner, will be reimagined as "Outcast Summoner" when they re-enter the fray and defend the frontlines. Other quality of life improvements will include player gear trading, as well as an increased level cap with new gear and abilities to master.

“Episode Two Part 1” releases across all existing platforms, including Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam in October, with Nintendo Switch joining the defense in November.

Dungeon Defenders: Awakened is available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam for $29.99 with English language support. More language options are planned for future content updates.
