Publisher Leonardo Interactive and developer Invader Studios confirmed that their upcoming suvival horro game Daymare: 1994 Sandcastle will release on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4|5, and PC in August. A free demo drops for the game today (May 11) on Steam.

Daymare: 1994 Sandcastle is a third-person story-driven survival horror game prequel to the critically acclaimed Daymare: 1998. Step into the shoes of special agent Dalila Reyes, a former government spy now in the service of a unit called H.A.D.E.S. (Hexacore Advanced Division for Extraction and Search), and get ready to enter the most advanced experimental research center in the United States of America. Be careful though, because in the darkness of the desolate, labyrinthine depths of the military research center there is something terrifying and lethal awaiting you!

Dalia Reyes began her career as a government agent, but her new role as a member of the H.A.D.E.S. Unit is even more dangerous than she could have imagined. Tasked with infiltrating a secret research facility, Reyes must be ready to fight strange creatures and use her wits to overcome the labyrinthian halls in a tense survival horror experience full of challenging combat and tricky puzzles.

The Daymare 1994: Sandcastle demo provides players with an introduction to the game’s story and world with multiple thrilling combat encounters. Experiment with multiple weapons, including the liquid nitrogen-enhanced Frost Grip, capable of freezing foes in their tracks, and prepare for the challenges that await when Daymare 1994: Sandcastle launches in August.
