Upcoming August Showcase Announced as INDIE Live Expo 2023 Hits 10 Million Views
The biannual live digital showcase INDIE Live Expo 2023 (@INDIELiveExpoEN) has reached more than 84 million total views since its launch in 2020. The May event alone attracted over 10 million views in two days, featuring more than 300 indie games from around the world. Now, the organizers are preparing for their first-ever August 2023 showcase, which promises to bring more indie game excitement to the fans.
After a successful May show with 10.4 million indie fans witnessing the reveals and world premieres across more than 300 games, INDIE Live Expo adds a new show to its repertoire of indie events coming this August with a fresh set of world premieres and content updates. To date, INDIE Live Expo has highlighted more than 2,000 indie games to 84 million viewers since its creation in 2020.
INDIE Live Expo’s surprise August addition to the 2023 gaming showcase calendar caps off the summer season with a spotlight on Q3 indie updates from around the world. Feast on a fresh batch of indie premieres and surprises from developers and publishers alike with world premieres and never-before-seen content from brand-new and existing indies.
In its sixth consecutive digital showcase, INDIE Live Expo caught the attention of indie gaming enthusiasts around the world with a total viewership of 10.4 million watchers. After introducing more than 300 games during the two-day showcase, INDIE Live Expo crossed the threshold of introducing more than 2,000 indie games to 84 million viewers since its inception in 2020.
Highlights of INDIE Live Expo 2023 include the following reveals:
- Boyhood’s End, a psychological horror adventure game by developer Why So Serious (Needy Streamer Overload), coming to Steam for PC in August 2023
- Dream Channel Zero, an absurd JRPG adventure by Odencat (Meg’s Monster) coming to Steam for PC in 2024
- Never Grave: The Witch and The Curse, a 2D roguelike metroidvania now in development for PC via Steam from developer Pocketpair, Inc
- Heart of the Machine, a strategy simulation game by Hooded Horse
- Passpartout 2: The Lost Artist, the artist adventure simulation coming to Nintendo Switch from Happinet
Other notable announcements included:
- Open Alpha testing for Omega Crafter, the open-world survival game by developer Preferred Networks
- Upcoming updates for Glaciered, the Soulslike action adventure game developed by Studio Snowblind and published by PLAYISM
- A new June 18, 2023 release date for from Madness with Love, a visual novel dating sim from PLAYISM
- An October 2nd, 2023 release date for IGNISTONE, a roguelike action adventure developed by MONO ENTERTAINMENT and published by KODANSHA, coming to Steam, iOS and Android October 2nd, 2023
