‘A Christmas Carol’-inspired Metroidvania “Ebenezer and The Invisible World” launches on Nov. 3

Dash, dodge, and deck the halls as Ebenezer Scrooge, fresh from his reckoning with The Ghosts of Christmases Past, Present, and Yet to Come. Use newly bestowed abilities to peer into an invisible world of spirits on a quest to calm a legion of phantoms and broker peace with evil industrialist Casper Malthus. Fight phantom and human foes across a snow-laden Victorian London, with the help of familiar spirits, each with their own abilities to aid in combat or traversal to cleanse evil apparitions, discover lost secrets, and put an end to the rise of the insidious Mathlus family.

Explore a meticulously hand-drawn Victorian-era London adapted into a non-linear Metroidvania map full of secrets. Uncover hidden rooms and pathways to unlock powerful, game-changing Heirlooms and master a variety of ghostly weapons. Beyond the snow-covered streets, discover the mysteries of magical observatories, forgotten passageways, experimental facilities, advanced technology factories, and even ghostly realms beneath the city.

Ebenezer and The Invisible World will be available for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, Switch and PC (Steam) on Friday, November 3, 2023.
