Avalanche Studios third-person post-apocalyptic action game “Mad Max” is now available for digital pre-order and pre-download from Xbox Games Store on Xbox One.

Become Mad Max, the lone warrior in a savage post-apocalyptic world where cars are the key to survival. In this action-packed, open world, third person action game, you must fight to stay alive in The Wasteland, using brutal on-ground and vehicular against vicious gangs of bandits. Players are challenged with treacherous missions as they scavenge the landscape for supplies to build the ultimate combat vehicle.

Players that pre-order Mad Max will receive an additional Magnum Opus car body called “The Ripper,” which packs a powerful V8 engine, upgraded exhaust with custom off-road tires, a ramming grill and a tuned suspension so it can take on a variety of Wasteland surfaces.

Mad Max will be available in North America on September 1, 2015, and in Europe and Australasia on September 4, 2015 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC and SteamOS.
