Bandai Namco Amusement Europe Announces Group Brand Stores Opening in London's Victoria Place on Nov 14th
Bandai Namco Amusement Europe Ltd (@BandaiNamcoAE) is launching a new collection of Group brand stores at London’s Victoria Place on November 14th, after the positive reception of the first UK Bandai Namco Cross Store in Camden Market. The company aims to bring more Group brand stores to other locations in the UK soon.
Continuing to celebrate the physical nature of entertainment and Bandai Namco’s rich brands, the new stores will house GASHAPON collectables, Ichibankuji and Sun-Star Stationery.
As Japanese pop-culture such as anime, manga, and video games, contribute to the global appeal of Japanese collectibles, there is a huge growth of Japanese entertainment in the UK market. For example, on average 76% of Brits have collected Japanese collectables for nearly ten years.
As the popularity of Japanese culture, collectibles, digital and physical experiences continue to rise in the UK, these new stores offer a slice of those experiences adored throughout Japan by the Bandai Namco Group supporting a passionate community.
This new collection of stores will open in Victoria Place. Now with further ‘Bandai Namco Group stores’ entering the UK, this extends the feeling of excitement and community in physical spaces, orchestrating conversation, fun and collectibles.
“Once again, the ‘Bandai Namco Group’ are expanding their physical experiences outside of Japan allowing our well-known brands to embrace UK communities, celebrating more fun and collections which continue to build passionate fans”, said John McKenzie MD of Bandai Namco Amusement Europe. “As Japanese culture becomes more loved in the UK market with food, art, anime, gaming and collectables, we continue to embrace this, listen to our fans, and deliver rich products as we expand into further parts of the UK.”
“It is great to offer our customers this new and unique offer at London Victoria Station” Hamish Kiernan, Commercial Director, Network Rail. “The opening of Bandai Namco will undoubtedly create excitement and attract new shoppers to Victoria Place. We look forward to supporting its success and are thrilled to be part of their UK expansion.”
