Athenian Rhapsody, the Choose-your-own-adventure action RPG from indie developer Nico Papalia, is now available on all platforms alongside a brand new trailer showing off the complete insanity the game has to offer.

Athenian Rhapsody is a super-fresh, one-of-a-kind comedy RPG in which you'll explore the World of Athens! Your goal is to build your very own Rhapsody - the story of you (the player) and your epic tale in this world. You'll be faced with many challenges, and you'll have to fight (or hug) your way through the world by either battling, or awkwardly trying to make friends with your opponents through esoteric knowledge, abstract jokes, memory games, and other strange and funny interactions.

Made by solo developer Nico Papalia with a focus on tongue-in-cheek storytelling and vibrancy, you'll explore the colorful world of Athens as you make friends (or not), engage in rambunctious mini-games ranging from weight-lifting, shooting bugs, or drawing your own bosses to fight, and partake in excruciating challenges such as "Carry A Feather" as you travel from town-to-town. All this in the name of writing your own Rhapsody - a special, unique memento/token of your exact playthrough (PLEASE NOTE: THIS HAS NO RELATION TO NFTs OR WEB 3.0). The trials and tribulations of your journey make up this individualized story, which can then be shared online with other players to let everybody know how much of a psychopath you are! The newly released launch trailer outlines the mechanics of the game in further depth, building off of the game's two prior shared trailers.
