Deep Silver and Dambuster Studios announced today that "Homefront: The Revolution" will release on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, as well as Windows PC and Linux, on May 17, 2016.

Homefront: The Revolution is an open-world first person shooter where the player must lead a Resistance movement in guerrilla warfare against a superior military force.

Along with today's official announcement was a new gameplay trailer and information about the Xbox One exclusive beta. The Homefront: The Revolution closed beta will be available in February exclusively for Xbox One. You can register your details at on the official site for a chance to pickup one of the limited tokens.

Take a glimpse into the world of Occupied Philadelphia, 2029, and the brutal police states known as the Yellow Zones. Distinct from the war-ravaged wastelands of the Red Zones, and the highly militarised Green Zones, this densely populated environment offers a unique challenge and gameplay experience to would-be Freedom Fighters.
