If you're experiencing the Blackout Trial Has Ended error in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One platforms after the January 6 Call of Duty: Warzone update, follow these steps to fix the issue yourself.

How to Fix “Blackout Trial Has Ended” error
Treyarch issued a fix for the error last month (December 2020), but the latest patch has seen it return.

1. Go to “Manage Game & Add-Ons”
2. Select “Black Ops Cold War”
3. Check to see the Installed items for Black Ops Cold War
4. Ensure all items listed there are checked and installed
5. Restart your game
