EA Announces Battlefield 1 For Xbox One, PS4, PC; Coming October 2016; Pre-order Details
EA and DICE announced today that Battlefield 1, the next game in the explosive battlefield series, will be available worldwide for Xbox One, PS4, and Origin on PC this October.
Battlefield 1 takes you across multiple and varied locations in a bid to fight your way through immersive battles. From tight urban fights in a besieged French city, to big open spaces in the Italian Alps and frantic combats in the deserts of Arabia, discover a world at war through an adventure-filled campaign.
In a true multiplayer sandbox experience, take to the skies and engage in high-octane dogfights through treacherous landscapes, or have a battleship obliterating the coast from the sea, and engage in some of the biggest battles ever seen as empires clash for supremacy.
Fight your way through epic battles going from tight urban combat in a besieged French city to big open spaces in the Italian Alps or frantic combats in the Arabic sand dunes. Experience large-scale battles as infantry or piloting vehicles on land, air and sea, from the tanks and bikes on the ground, to bi-planes and gigantic battleships.
Discover a new world at war through an adventure-filled campaign, or join in epic multiplayer battles with up to 64 players. Adapt your tactics and strategy to the earth-shattering, dynamic environments and destruction.
If you're eager to go hands-on with Battlefield 1 you won't have to wait too long. During the EA Play events on June 12 in Los Angeles and London, we'll reveal the first gameplay footage and let attendees try the game for themselves. Register and make your way to those events, and you'll be able to play the game before pretty much anyone else.
EA Play won't be your only opportunity to play before release, though. There will be more chances in the months that follow, including an Open Beta (which you can get into a little earlier if you sign up for Battlefield Insider. EA Access and Origin Accessmembers will be able to play for a limited time before the release date, too. And if you pre-order the Early Enlister Deluxe Edition, you’ll be able to start playing on October 18, three days before the release date.

Battlefield 1 Open Beta
An Open Beta (which you can get into a little earlier if you sign up for Battlefield Insider. EA Access and Origin Access members will be able to play for a limited time before the release date, too. And if you pre-order the Early Enlister Deluxe Edition, you’ll be able to start playing on October 18, three days before the release date.

There are 2 versions of Battlefield 1 available for pre-order – the Battlefield 1 Standard Edition and the Battlefield 1 Early Enlister Deluxe Edition. Click each link for more details or see below.
- Battlefield 1 Standard Edition – this bundle includes Battlefield 1 and the Battlefield 1 Hellfighter Pack (The Harlem Hellfighters was one of the toughest infantry regiments in the Great War. This pack contains themed items inspired by their heroic deeds.)
- Battlefield 1 Early Enlister Deluxe Edition – this bundle includes Battlefield 1, the Hellfighter Pack and Deluxe Edition content – the Red Baron Pack and the Lawrence of Arabia Pack – containing themed weapons, vehicles and items. Plus five Battlepacks containing combinations of items. Exchanges the visual appearance on three of the largest vehicles in the game. This edition allows you to start playing Battlefield 1 three days earlier from October 18.
