The Review

The first thing you'll notice when you start unboxing the GTTRACK cockpit is that every single nut & bolt has been conveniently packaged, making the whole assembly process as simple as possible – They even included a toolkit!

It took me a little over an hour to assemble the cockpit with a little help from the included guide but I seriously regret not having someone else around while installing some of the larger parts like the full-size leather seat. Just take your time with it and if you manage to find yourself stuck check out the official GTTRACK Assembly Video.

The Ultimate Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 Cockpit

Transforming the GTTRACK cockpit from racing into flight was easy with the included Combat Flight Pack. Constructed from laser-cut and robot welded carbon steel, the powder coated Combat Flight Pack lets you mount your flight stick and throttle in realistic positions (either side of your seat or in the center), and arrives pre-drilled and compatible with all major flight control brands including Logitech/Saitek, Thrustmaster and CH products.

With the cockpit fully assembled it was time to start setting up and connecting the electronics. I used 8 x M4 nuts & bolts to hold the Flight Stick and Throttle in place while drilling a couple of extra holes in the flight deck to make the flight panels line up exactly how I wanted them. All that was left now was to run the USB cables to the PC and try it out for the first time.

I paired up Logitech's X56 Flight Stick and Throttle Control, as well as two of the new Flight Panels with the GTtrack and was pleasantly surprised with the outcome. 100% compatible with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and Flight Simulator X, The X56 Flight Stick, Throttle and Flight Panels bring that extra level of immersion and makes it much easier to manage the controls on larger aircraft. The Freestanding Keyboard & Mouse (available separately) slots right into place while the lockable wheels make it much easier and less stressful to move. The distance and angle of the pedal plate can also be adjusted and the control deck allows both height and angle adjustment.

Designed to be comfortable for long hours of flight and/or racing, the GTTRACK cockpit has to be one of the most comfortable cockpits I've ever had the pleasure to sit in. Everything from the adjustable leather recliable seat to the pre-drill control deck. The cockpit is flawless and the Next Level Racing team have really nailed it.

The GTTRACK is one of the only cockpits to offer Dual Functionality for both Flying and Racing, as well as a true plethora of accessories like Freestanding Monitor Stands, Keyboard & mouse stands, Floor mats, and to top all that off, the GTTRACK Flight Simulator Cockpit is 100% compatible with all Next Level Racing Motion Platforms.
