Easy Day Studios has announced that Skater XL (‎@skater_xl) will be the exclusive video game partner for the 27th Annual Tampa Pro. As the longest held traditional skateboarding competition, the iconic pro skateboarding event will be taking place from October 15th through 17th at the Skatepark of Tampa in Tampa Bay, FL.

As an official sponsor of the event, Skater XL will also present the “Trick Of The Weekend” for the best trick performed during the Tampa Pro, where the winner will receive a cash prize and a custom Skater XL PlayStation 5 console.

Gamers can celebrate this upcoming event with the release of the Skatepark of Tampa (SPoT) map update for Skater XL available now on Xbox One, PS4, and PC. Check out the official trailer!

The Tampa Pro is the most respected grassroots contest in skateboarding today. Since its humble beginnings in 1995, the competition has cultivated its own signature blend of state-of-the-art skateboarding, live music and side events. Many of today’s skateboarding greats have claimed the podium at SPoT events, including Paul Rodriguez, Luan Oliveira, Torey Pudwill, Bastien Salabanzi, and reigning SLS World Champion Huston.
