Techland (@TechlandGames) released the first animated “Story from the Dying City” video. The animation, called The Jonah, is now available to watch here.

Halloween Comes to Dying Light

Immerse yourself in the world of Dying Light 2 Stay Human with another urban legend spreading among the citizens of Villedor. The legends about Jonah are well-known to every sailor. Those who’ve been out to sea know the bad luck Jonah brings. On your ship, as things turn south, the wind stops blowing, ropes break, and food rots. His bad luck spreads like a virus with every touch, and the only way to stop him is to track him down and throw him overboard. But watch out, as you can only truly know Jonah once you meet him.

Listen to this scary legend narrated by the deepest, darkest voice on YouTube, Corpse Husband, and feel goosebumps form on your skin. And if you somehow survive, perhaps good luck will find you next time? Every legend carries its own mysteries, and Jonah’s bad luck cannot reach those who have uncovered all the secrets hidden in this legend.

Missing the other audio Stories from the Dying City? Dedrick, Rosemary, and Antigone await on the Dying Light YouTube Channel.

Dying Light 2 Stay Human, published by Techland, launches February 4 on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch (Cloud Version). Pre-orders can be placed at dyinglightgame.com/preorder. All pre-orders will come with an exclusive digital Reload Pack, featuring a unique outfit, weapon, and paraglider skin.

Scariest Halloween Yet: New Van Crane Bundle and Halloween Event in Dying Light

To embrace the spirit of Halloween, Techland today launches a seasonal event in Dying Light. With the event comes a new challenge, “Volatile Rush”! Be careful, as every noise you make will summon a Volatile. They may be terrifying, but you are not defenseless! Trick-or-treat potions will aid you in combat and the Van Crane Bundle, spooky zombies, and themed decorations across the city will plunge you right into the festivities of All Hallows’ Eve.

“Though most seek shelter as All Hallows’ Eve arrives, you fear no monster or creature of the night. For you are Van Crane, the slayer of horrors, and Halloween is but a feast to you.”

With a new costume and weapons, you have all you need to cleanse Harran’s streets of creatures of the night!

The Halloween event launches for Dying Light on PC and console on October 28 at 7:00 PM CEST and lasts until November 8 at 9:00 PM CET. For more information about the Halloween Event and Van Crane Bundle, please check out the Steam page (available today, 7 PM CEST) here.

Dying Light 2 launches February 4, 2022, on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC.
