Korean developer Pearl Abyss announced that Black Desert's Summer Events will take place beginning today the 3rd of August up until the 24th of August. The new Sand Castle Shore-down 30 vs 30 PvP mode takes centre stage in a host of new events that will heat up your Summer.

When entering the Sand Castle Shore-down event via the Red Battlefield, players will automatically join either the Papu or Otter teams and will be assigned one of the following roles at random: Warrior, Caster or Healer. Players will then engage in a 30 vs 30 deathmatch and need to defeat other players in order to gain points. The number of points players can earn depends on the amount of points the defeated player holds.

The team that holds the most accumulated points at the end of the 10-minute match will win and be rewarded with in-game items including Battlefield Tokens. Players can exchange Battlefield Tokens with Terrmian Special Coins, which can be used to receive valuable in-game items such as Coco or El Pento Summer Outfit Box.

Other Summer Events include the Millenium Masterpiece Art auction held by Kakuo, the genius painter and Parapura, a Papu genius sculptor at Terrmian Beach where players can bid for wonderful pieces of art. There is a fishing event, sand castles, a screenshot event and you can shop for new Summer outfits that are now available for all classes. The Black Desert Community can also look forward to Twitch Drops rewards when they tune into their favourite Black Desert content creators.
