Wired Productions, Writer/Director Jörg Tittel and pioneering independent games studio Wolf & Wood, confirmed that The Last Worker will be launching on PC, Steam, Epic Games Store and GOG on October 19. With Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch to follow.

The Last Worker is a narrative adventure centered around our struggle in an increasingly automated and dehumanizing world. Set in lonely, oppressive but strangely beautiful environments, The Last Worker is a unique blend of first-person narrative, work simulation, action, and stealth gameplay. Combining a hand-crafted art style with uniquely immersive gameplay mechanics in an epic setting, the game delivers an emotional, thought-provoking, and comedic story with rich characters performed by an all-star cast.

The official PC release date trailer gives insight into the lonely, oppressive, yet strangely beautiful setting of JFC-1. Featuring gameplay footage of our protagonist, Kurt, aboard his corporate issued JünglePod set against a ‘motivational’ speech by CEO Josef Jüngle reminding players that customer satisfaction is what holds the Jüngle Family together, whatever the cost.

The Last Worker will come to PC first, launching on Steam, Epic Games Store and GOG on October 19th, 2022. Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch platforms to follow.
