110 Industries and developer Soleil released a new 30-minute Wanted: Dead gameplay walkthrough showcasing the spectacular combat, deep systems and sci-fi story you can expect to encounter in this love letter to the sixth generation of videogame consoles, due to release on Xbox, PlayStation and PC in February 2023.

The walkthrough shows how the game allows you to effortlessly blend skill-based sword combat and third-person cover shooting while making use of cool finishers that allow you to supplement substance with bloody and brutal style.

The video also introduces players to Wanted: Dead’s skill tree, showing us some of the moves you can unlock in action, and introduces players to the colourful cast of characters that you will meet while uncovering a corporate conspiracy in a retro-futuristic Hong Kong. It’s capped off with a look at one of the game’s epic boss fights against a giant walking tank.

Developed by the talent that created Ninja Gaiden, Wanted: Dead carries that series’ hardcore DNA, with intelligent enemies pushing you to master the game’s systems. Wanted: Dead forces players to learn how to use combos, parries and the other tools it gives you to full effect to overcome the inevitable ass-kickings the game will be dishing out. The reward will be aesthetically pleasing bouts of blood and violence and the sense of satisfaction that comes with becoming a flawless fighting machine.

Wanted: Dead will be available for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC on February 14, 2023.
