Fika Productions and Team17 revealed that bombastic solo or two-player co-op roguelite Ship of Fools has launched its second free update ‘Fish & Ships’ today on Steam with additional platforms to follow soon. Swab the deck and check out the brand-new trailer for the Fish & Ships update!

The second update adds the brand-new character of ‘Otto, the reverse Kraken’ to the ranks while introducing four new pilotable ships, each with its own unique ammunition, artifacts, and challenges. Give the curious bell a jingle to meet your new gooey and tentacley best friend Otto, a shipwright with enough tools to repair your ships, but most importantly, mend the wounds of your broken heart.

Players who can’t get enough of the Fools can also pick up the game’s second paid DLC ‘Water Garden Duo’ today for £4.99/$4.99 US/€4.99 on Steam to play as the new fool-midable pair Mikoi and Noh, who can deal devastating damage with their sound blast attacks and lightning speed.

Fooligans looking to get in on the action from today can pick up the base game or Aquapocalypse Edition, which includes the base game, both DLC, and Ship of Fools’ original soundtrack, for 50% off on Steam until 20th November.

The Fish & Ships Update is out now on Steam and comes to Consoles later this month.
