Promenade, the beautiful and ambitious 2D Collectathon from RED ART GAMES released a brand new demo is getting a limited physical release on Xbox Series/Xbox One in addition to its previously announced PS5 and Switch physical versions. A free demo is available now on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch (PS4 version launches on February 14).

Promenade is a 2D platformer that takes players on a colorful and whimsical adventure. Travel the world with your poulp using a dynamic moveset to find all the cogs! Interact with colorful characters and solve puzzles! Explore dungeons and face the bosses that dwell there! Use different objects and their properties to your advantage! Collect the lost cogs, repair the Great Elevator and unlock new levels in this collectathon directly inspired by 3D platformers!

The demo version lets players sample four different gameplay sequences:

• Cavern of Awakening (tutorial level)
• Sandy Stroll (full level)
• Slinghops (trial)
• Masked Demon’s Lair (boss fight)

Xbox physical copies of Promenade cost €34.99 and can be pre-ordered right now from Red Art Games’ official online store. Switch, PS5 & PS4 Standard as well as Deluxe Edition copies of Promenade can still be pre-ordered from redartgames.com.

Finally, to celebrate Promenade’s upcoming release as well as the availability of its demo, Red Art Games has put together a brand new trailer showcasing the game’s collectathon gameplay (link available below). Created by French indie studio Holy Cap, Promenade has been ported to consoles by Red Art Studios and will be published both digitally and physically by Red Art Games.

Promenade will be available for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and PC on February 23, 2024, priced at $24.99 / €24.99 digitally.
