Studio Wildcard's open-world dinosaur survival game ARK: Survival Evolved is now available to download on the Xbox One game preview program.

Built on Unreal Engine 4, ARK: Survival Evolved is the first to deliver the popular-on-PC online survival genre to consoles, with a unique footprint of adventure, multiplayer online cooperation and competition, focused on the basic survival skills of crafting, harvesting, building, and exploration.

Stranded on the shores of a mysterious island, you must learn to survive. Use your cunning to kill or tame the primeval creatures roaming the land, and encounter other players to survive, dominate…and escape.

ARK: Survival Evolved on Xbox One includes an exclusive bionic “Tek” T-Rex and Safari Hat, free access to Xbox-specific ARK official servers (supporting 70 simultaneous players) ,Tailor made Xbox One gamepad controls and a steady delivery of exclusive content prior to full game launch in June 2016.

Studio Wildcard recently confirmed that an update coming to Ark: Survival Evolved in early 2016 will add 2-player local co-op to the game. Online play won't be supported in split-screen mode, but it will allow you to explore ARK on Xbox One with a friend. 

Developed by Studio Wildcard and published via the ID@Xbox program, ARK: Survival Evolved is available via the Xbox Games Store, priced at $34.99, £27.99 , $44.95 AUD. A free demo is available for eager survivors!

Ark: Survival Evolved is currently available for Xbox One as a part of the game preview program. The full release of the game is expected to be available in June of 2016.
