Ubisoft announced today that a Closed Beta for "Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege" will begin later this year. Pre-order the Collector's edition and you'll receive the full game, a collector's box, a Gold Skins Pack for all in-game weapons, an exclusive 120-page Tactical Guide and you'll get guaranteed access to the Closed Beta.


The "Art of Siege Edition" Collector's edition for Rainbow Six Siege includes the full game, a collector’s box, a Gold Skins Pack for all in-game weapons and an exclusive 120-page Tactical Guide that includes information on every Counter Terrorist Unit, Operator, weapon, and map with the highest level of detail and statistics. All this content has been created with developer team and core gamers’ advice, giving you the most effective results in the field.  The Collector Edition can be pre-ordered at the Uplay Shop.

Ubisoft also revealed today that "Rainbow Six Siege" will include a brand-new operator system. Operators are specialists from the world’s top Special Forces units and masters in their respective fields. Each has their own unique expertise which adds a new tactical layer to the Siege experience and pushes team play even further. Players will put together these operators to create their best CTU (counter-terrorism unit) composition in order to defeat the opposing team.

Players who pre-order the game will get guaranteed access to the Closed Beta which will begin at a later date this year.
