DICE released a brand new developer diary video earlier this week, showcasing the next generation Frostbite 3 engine powering Battlefield 4.



The game designers can now do way more than they have ever been able to do before. The Frostbite 3 game engine controls how the environment reacts. Everything from dams breaking and trees shaking to waves and whitecaps in the water. It's a very cool and dynamic engine. Take your first look at some of the amazing effects that Battlefield's next-generation Frostbite 3 engine will produce.
