Today, DICE gave fans across the galaxy their first look at Star Wars Battlefront gameplay with the debut of Walker Assault.

Inspired by the iconic Battle of Hoth, Walker Assault is a game mode focusing on the Empire’s mighty AT-AT assault vehicles - also known as Walkers - slowly but steadily moving towards a Rebel base. You’ll get to experience both sides of this clash on all the Star Wars Battlefront planets, with up to 40 players (20 versus 20) being part of the fight. It’s a classic David and Goliath struggle – but the outcome is always uncertain and in the hands of you and your team.

Grab your first look at "Walker Assault", one of the larger multiplayer modes in Star Wars Battlefront. Walker Assault supports up to 40-players online and pits Rebel forces against the Empire in an epic battle. As the Empire, you must accompany AT-AT walkers as they march towards the Rebel base to destroy it. And as a Rebel, you must do everything you can to stop them.




Developed by DICE on Frostbite 3, Star Wars Battlefront will be available on November 17th in North America, November 18th in Europe  and November 19th in Australasia.
